i like watching american sitcoms (half hour funny shows) the most (my favs right now are 30 Rock, Big Bang Theory, and some on the disney channel that are aimed at kids/teens , but i still think is great, like Good Luck Charlie and Austin and Ally. lol. and I BECAME A FAN OF SELENA GOMEZ after watching wizards of waverly place, which was great!! hehe...)
but i often watch hong kong (TVB) dramas with my family. i've watched them since i was little and they've gotten a lot worse since around the year 2000, but we still watch them. lol. ANYONE ELSE HERE WHO WATCHES TVB DRAMAS??? we can talk about it sometime!! haha... there's this guy right now, him law, who's getting popular that everyone thinks is so hot, but i think he's a bad actor and just looks ok and he hit his ex-girlfriend years ago. >_< ok, sorry, i'm blabbing on about this...xD
i actually began with 'i don't care what kind of drama it's gonna be, it has toma so i'm watching it' but now as the month has progressed and we keep getting to see new stuff, it looks nice and the chemistry between all the actors also looks really warm which is good for the drama in turn.. so now i'm gonna watch it(dunno when) because it looks good ^_^ and i watch kkorean and japanese dramas both, but more japanese because 1. they end quickly 2. i need to learn the language and learning through dramas is fun xD 3. there's a lot of variety and interesting plots :)
souka...^^ well, it's not the kinda drama that i would usually watch. i think it could be good, but i'm afraid it might be kinda preachy or too optimistic for me. i am not a pessimist, but more of a cynical person, i guess, so i dunno. but i'll watch it for toma.
omg, yes!! my mom started watching korean dramas and they're pretty good, but they go on forever. O_O well, we watch HK dramas that are viet-subbed, so i can't learn the language from it. haha. they are usually about 20 episodes, which i'm ok with. i kinda wish japanese dramas were longer, cuz i'm used to HK dramas' length, but i guess they're fine the way they are, cuz with 10 episodes only, they really focus on important stuff and don't have any pointless scenes, long flashbacks, etc. to waste time.
i mostly watch anime. but if i do watch dramas, i prefer jdramas because they are quick. the last two jdramas i watched were rich man, poor woman and hungry.
i'm not really sure what this new show is going to be about. not too interested yet, but i hope it's good. is toma really the lead? the promos looked more like an ensemble. anyway can't wait to see the show and toma!
i see... ^^ yeah, it does look more like an ensemble. i guess it's about toma and others trying to improve the town and their lives...it looks kind of boring to me, but at least there's nice countryside scenary.
I see.. I'm the optimistic kind so I'm looking forward to this XD oh I see haha :D yeah, sometimes I wish the dramas were atleast 1 or 2 episodes longer, so the ending doesn't seem too rushed..
I haven't watched dorama during my hiatus period, so this new dorama of Toma is going to be the first after such a long dry spell LOL!
Nowadays, I watched mostly American tv series and sitcoms. I absolutely love New Girl, Two Broke Girls, and HIMYM. For tv series I follow The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and especially White Collar (damn look at Bomer!)
yeahh!! i never watched the show, but cuz i watch Psych, which is on the same channel, i often see promo clips for White Collar. i noticed that his missing girlfriend in the show, her name is kate! hehehe...
Hhehee im really looking forward to Toma's drama, but i cant say its the usual genre i watch. I dont really watch society/ human? drama like this but who cares! its Toma, and most of the time i watch jap dramas for their casts and usually i will like the drama in the end ;D
but the thing is, i don't know any of the people in the cast and they don't particularly look good-looking either. lol. but i guess i might end up liking the drama, anyway. we'll see...
I am J-drama fan to begin with :Dv I think I’ve watched probably most the subbed dramas on D-Addicts :’D I just love Japanase drama/movies. It offers interesting concept and not too long and draggy like Korean stuffs. But I do love one K-drama, called Mawang. Yeah I watched it because of Toma lol As much as I love Toma, I think Mawang > Maou.
I used to watch lotsa TVB series when I was growing up. Those detective/lawyer series xD! I remember watching Aaron Kwok lol
As for American, I love Criminal Minds :D I used to love NCIS but after Kate’s gone, it’s just not the same anymore.
