DISCUSSION POST FOR EPISODES 1 AND 2 OF OUROBOROS....
i'm not sure if anyone would be interested, but i thought maybe we can have discussion posts for Ouroboros episodes?? talk about anything related to the drama. what you like about it, what you hate about it, favorite scenes, favorite characters, etc. =) i know not everyone watches it every week and maybe some of you haven't even watched the 1st episode. but let's just try it and see if what happens. if not a lot of people post, then nevermind. lol. but it might be nice to have a weekly episode discussion post...i think?? i could make a poll, but i'd rather see people commenting. i've only watched episode 1. i thought it was ok. it was actually kinda boring for me. lol. and it reminds me of nino's old drama, Ryusei no Kizuna (which i really liked!).

i like how toma's character seems like a good guy, but he has a dark side, too. shun's character is really cool. but so far, i am not that interested. i'm going to wait a while before i watch again and hope that it gets better later on. haha.

i guess I somewhat agree , the episode is boring for me, they skipped most exciting and shocking violence scenes of the original so I guess what left is not that great. Episode 2 is a bit better but for Toma and Shun's naked bath and Toma's action, the rest is even worse than the 1st. Though the 3rd one is really good, closet to the original as possible, so I hope you will come back to watch it. I try that show Rysei but only watch 10 min in ep1, I didn't find it interesting so I didn't continue (maybe cause I didn't like the actors)

For me, the first episode was pretty fun to watch, but somehow the second wasn't as interesting. It followed the same pattern as the first, but had less inpact or something. (But lot's of Toma showing his abs, which was great xD)

I really like both main characters, they seem to be pretty complex, not easily put in to categories like good and bad. I really like that and I'm looking forward to see how they will progress.

I have watched the first and second episode.

I think the story is okay. Not that great but okay.

I think the main point in that drama is the actor's acting.

I love how Toma act. He has somehow a stupid chara in front of public but has a serious dark side.

He portrait it cleverly.

About the story,  I hope it portrayed a dark situation properly and make the story interesting.

I was really looking forward to this so idk if it's because of all the hype but I felt a bit dissapointed. The story is interesting but it was all too focused on the backstory and flashbacks in the 1st episode and it seems like they will keep doing this until the very end. Which I don't think is a very good move because this way the tension is somehow missing, at least it seems to me.
I can't help it but I just saw Kazoku Game recently and I always end up comparing dramas to this one, because I think KG was brilliantly made. Although the story is completely different, the way it was made, the way the tension was built up and the way they handled the backstory (the backstorrrry!!) - all of that was so skillfully managed and that's what I call a successful drama.

The visuals are okay but nothing spectacular, from time to time we can see some action scenes that liven up the drama and some abs (lol! :D) but that's about it. Regarding the characters, I was at first confused about Toma's character because I didn't know what the heck he was supposed to be haha. Like the "good" one? I don't mean that I expected a hugely generalized archetype, I was just confused by the way the character acted (don't mean Toma acting, I thought his acting was good haha) .. it becomes more clear in 2nd episode though so... lol
Other characters are okay I guess. Shun's character is a bit more flat, so I expect something more from him in the future. Juri is cute, I think she's beautifullll~~~~ lol haha but it seems like she doesn't fit the original character from the manga.

Overall the drama is doing okay but not amazing. When watching the episodes, I didn't feel super hyped about watching the next. That is a bad sign!

awww, I completely agree...it's a bad move for the 1st and 2nd ep, but they changed that 3rd one, please watch when sub come..I have the hallelujah moment after finish that 3rd one, they finally got it. Toma's character acting silly on surface to hide his dark side which is very interesting and complicating to perform. Though I am a bit disappointed they made him nicer,no cold blood kill scene yet,much less evil than the original, made him into a good guy I guess.

Haha yeah I'll watch the 3rd as soon as possible then, thanks :D Regarding Toma's character I guess they might make him worse gradually ep by ep or rather, reveal his true character gradually :D But I don't know, i wonder how will it all turn out.

Is here anybody from Germany/Austria? The beginning somehow reminds me of how we start our Dramas or Books. Like 1st, introducing the characters, 2nd show what the did and how the worked until now, 3rd start the real think :)

I don't know what to think about Juri. She always looks the same for me. If she didn't say some words about trusting Toma or not, you couldn't read it from her mind and that's the point why I don't like her. It's important for their chemistry to read it in her face. Maybe just my opinion^^

Toma portrait his character great so far. I'm sure there will come a moment when he can't hide his dark side and I'm really looking forward to watch it
