now i kind of regret becoming a project leader for TFS. lollll. i didn't even accomplish much. just 1 completed project. and then i got ppl to re-upload videos. that's it. lol. as much as i love Tomalicious and Toma, it's not worth getting in trouble legally. god, i hope johnny's never comes after us for wanting to share toma stuff with toma fans!! =(

it's ok. so i'll change all of it to friends only, then i'll gradually change them from friends only to members only. i mean, at least they are not public anymore. thanks again. =)

i'm not even sure if i can do that. lol. because a community livejournal is different from a personal livejournal. i am logged in as tfs_team, so it only let me make tfs_team's 1 entry friends only. lol.

damn it..... i hope i can figure it out...

edit: i can't do it. lol. i'm just gonna try to do 20 a day. only 9.5 days. it'll be ok... people mostly voting that we should be worried is making me nervous though. o____o

well, i have chose the option "minimize my community's inclusion in search engine results", so i hope that helps! also i googled "ikuta toma" and tomalicious_frm doesn't show up until the 6th page... so i guess that's not so bad. i bet it would show up on the first page if you search ikuta toma download though.... -_-

in case people are freaking out, i just want to remind everyone that the person i mentioned, all her files being deleted... this is not the first time this has happened. i remember 2 years ago when a lot of people's files (toma or johnny's related i think) on mediafire were deleted. and memo_toma even wrote a post about it and giving people advice on how to back up their files to another account. http://memo-toma.livejournal.com/5539.html

i don't know where these ppl lived (probably not in japan) BUT THOSE PEOPLE DID NOT GET INTO ANY LEGAL TROUBLE. it just happens sometimes, they do a sweep and check to see which files are copyrighted, and then they delete them. it's never happened to me (except on youtube), but i think it's happened to a lot of people and no one got in trouble. just that their files got deleted.

IF YOU ARE REALLY WORRIED THOUGH, YOU CAN ALWAYS GO TO YOUR MEDIAFIRE OF 4SHARED OR WHATEVER ACCUONTS AND DELETE ALL COPYRIGHTED TOMA OR OTHER VIDEOS....

ALSO.... i think if you only share toma/other copyrighted stuff sometimes, you should be ok. but if you have like a TON (like memo_toma) then maybe you'll have more chances of getting those files deleted or your account suspended...

but if you don't live in japan or a country that has super strict copyright laws (look it up...i'm not sure about the usa's laws. lol. but let me check now!), you should be ok!! i mean, even recently, with the celebrity pics leak, A BUNCH OF PEOPLE (in the usa, a lot of them, i think), re-uploaded the pics to sites like mega or something to share with other people, and i don't see anybody saying they got arrested. even though those pictures are considered copyrighted because they belong to those female celebrities.

according to this article, as of last year, people in the usa can only get in trouble if they upload things to BitTorrent. even then, the consequences are minor and not that scary. just have to look at educational anti-piracy "courses" or get your internet slowed down after several warnings. xD

REMEMBER WHEN MEGAUPLOAD WAS SHUT DOWN 2 YEARS AGO BY THE united states department of justice? well, no one was arrested though. and last year, they relaunched as mega.co.nz. omg, i didn't know that was mega relaunched. lol. should have known. lolllll.

this is one of the the few times that i'm glad our fandom is pretty small and toma isn't super popular. haha. i mean... if johnny's go after overseas fans for uploading stuff, shouldn't they go after arashi fans first? lol... of course i hope they never will, though.

i mean, it's been this long and tomalicious never got any warnings or anything from them. i think we'll be ok... they just don't like it when people stream their stuff on youtube or dailymotion or something...i think...

Toma's fandom aren't super popular :( so we will be safe..haha Sound so sad for Toma. I wonder if Toma's actually more popular in Japan than oversea ?:D.
This is super scary when people got caught upload to streaming site.Japan's law is ridiculous, how the heck oversea fan got to know them. At least, in Canada, we still able to download stuff online. I hope that day when Canada band download never ever come.

i'm sure he's much more popular in japan than overseas. but he used to have more overseas fans. they just gradually went away after Maou... around 2009 was when toma started doing movies and so he wasn't in the news much and people lost interest.

yeah... sigh... japan is too strict about everything, really. lol.
