Yamapi Kisses Stranger on New Television Show (not toma-related, but i wanted to share it. lol.)

Since the canceling of his other variety program, Yamashita has begun a new show called "Otona no Kiss Eigo" in which he attempts to pracitce/learn English. On the first episode of the show, Yamapi was introduced to a foreign girl from Australia. The two were shown a video of strangers being asked to kiss for the first time. They spoke completely in English for a while, then were instructed to kiss each other. Yamapi took the lead, kissing the girl twice. Afterwords, he revealed to his co-hosts that he actually fell for her. *cue jealous fan reaction LOL*

Yamapi was able to get by fairly well conversationally in English, but I wouldn't say he is completely fluent. Nonetheless I was surprised he was actually able to hold a conversation that well. We all know how other Johnny's do at English....

that girl, sophie is so lucky!!!! and his english is pretty good!! only sometimes, i had trouble understanding what he said. this whole thing is mostly awkward, but it was also cute. lol. and yamashita's laugh is funny. xD i watched the whole thing and imagined how it would be if it was toma instead of yamashita who had to do this. lolllll. i think he might be even more awkward, but not sure. hahaha....

I care so little about Yamapi that when I saw the stuff about this on 2ch I was just like "loooool"

Like, IDK much about his talent--I don't like his singing that much and his acting is sub-par, and now he's even looking kinda creepy, at least, compared to how he looked when he was younger :/

So it's kinda like... what are you even doing with your life Yamapi maybe your time to shine is over :|

lol. i see. well, i know not everyone who likes toma is a fan of yamashita, so i understand. but it seems like most people who like toma also like him...

i do agree that his acting and singing is just ok, though. lol. and he is not as cute as he used to be. and it's sad that he left NEWS to do his own thing, but not sure that was a good idea. i think his songs and album sales were still good? his dramas didn't do so well though, and his variety show was cancelled.

I don't think we gonna see yamapi and Toma together anytimes soon since yamapi in the other side of Johnny. I used to like Yamapi even before Toma but I ship to Toma after Hanakimi..I have to agree with Brandon-chan..Yamapi looks weir these days, he used to be so cute and adorable. Kinda sad don't see them together anymore. I think if Toma do the show..its gonna be a blast b/c Toma always tried his best..and kissing is gonna be hot( recall 007 he fake kiss the guy and Naomi -BRI). God how I want Toma in a show soon..I miss him so much.
edit after watch the show..its so cute and I was surprised at how good his Eng was..(wonder how is Toma's Eng consider he watch stage play over sea so he must understand Eng well)
OMG nobody confess their 1st kiss here..I 'll be the first then..mine was when I was 13 with a boy 5 years older than me..it was really fast..barely touch haha..but it was hot.

yeah....i know what you mean. toma's english is not very good. lol. i'm pretty sure he said so in the past. something like how he couldn't really understand what these foreigners who worked as dancers in one of his butai's were saying when they were on a break from rehearsing or something. lol. something like that. but maybe his english has improved since then, i don't know.

wow! thank you for talking about your first kiss. but i didn't expect anyone to, it's kinda personal. so it's fine if no one else shares. lol. though i'd love it if anyone did. xD

hi Kate, I thought his accent was good in another sky, I haven't heard any English from him since (except the Bath roman one I guess). I didn't know he said his Eng was bad. There one time directer Miike asked him if he could understand Eng well because he traveled to watch stage play..I think he said yes..AWW I just wish that he has some show that he has to speak Eng...
Maybe I shouldn't say anything about the 1st kiss. I thought if I share people will share too. I like reading about them..hehe
(you know when yamapi said his first was at 12, i immediately thought about Toma gave him a kiss ..can't help it..haha)
