Attach on Titan, Toma Ikuta as one of cardidate casting for Eren

I love Attach on Titan ever since last year. If you haven't watch this amazing show, do it now, you won't be disappointed. You can watch this amazing show on Crunchy roll.

Back since last year, while watching I kept imagine Toma in the role of Eren (the main hero) because the character got big green eyes, passionate about killing the giant. Even though he was not as talented as other members of the team, he tried very hard for his goal of killing the giant. He was the only one that really train to kill Giant.Everyone else was just there for army food and safety( kinna like Toma tried his best to be successful as an actor among the debut johnny's that having more opportunity than him). Then I heard that they are going to make this anime into live action movie, I was so happy and wish they would cast Toma as Eren but I thought to myself it would never happen because Eren was only 15 years old. Then on Dec 5th, I read an article which said that Katori Shingo, Toma Ikuta, Tatsuya Fujiwara (death note) and 2 guys from Kiss myFT2 were predicted to be casted as Eren. They nailed down to just Toma and katori (jan 1).I was overjoyed and hope that Toma will get the role. Here is the article: look for giant advance

I am still waiting for the announcement for casting which won't be until they start filming in May 2014. Finger crossed.

wouldn't Toma be too old,lol... i actually thought the movie would be just CGI like Captain Harlock, if his voice will be used, that's great~ but yeah it was a Real people live action, me baka, gomen, i'm not sure what to feel about this, I don't really like Eren's character,but if Ohno will be Levi Heichou I'M HANDS DOWN WITH IT! JUST TO SEE THE BOTH OF THEM TOGETHER AGAIN! AND YES I DO THINK OHNO IS THE LEVI!!!

I don't know why I saw Nino as Levi maybe because he look cold. I don't understand why Eren not popular for me he is the best character. I think They will change the age group to around 20 to fit all the actors group.

I can't really see him as Eren (but maybe I'll actually start liking Eren if Toma plays him XD). I think he'd pull off Erwin really well though!

I just finished watching it last night and then there's already a good news about it!? I'm getting excited although it's still uncertain about Toma. But having Toma as one of the candidate is already an overwhelming for me.

OMG! i hope he get casted for this...! I love AOT.... it would be great if shun will be there too! I want Horikita Maki to play Mikasa... haha... I really want to see them together just like back in Hana Kimi :D

According to the article Maki was also a candidate but not for Mikasa I forgot which character. I didn't hear anything about Shun though.

It will be great if he really gets the cast as Eren. Though I was influenced with a survey that said Sakurai Sho looks like Eren (or it is the other way around? I forgot lol) because Sho has those round eyes that reminds some correspondents with Eren's big eyes LOL

I was shock too when they said he was one of candidate for Eren. I like Eren I don't know why he is not popular like captain Levi. I think they may have to change the age to around 20. In the list, Toma is the best in my opinion, Katori Shingo and Tatsuya Fujiwara (death note)are even older. The 2 guys from kiss my Ft 2 are not good acting and look nothing like Eren.

i don't know anything about this anime, but it would be cool if toma could be in this movie. i guess they'll have to make the characters all older so it's ok if toma doesn't look like he's 15. haha...

I agree. They did that with game of throne (character is 12 to 14 yo). I didn't think Eren has to be 15.

i think toma could do it even though his actual age and the character's differ.. he did high school roles despite him nearing to 30s right?

I totally agree. Toma has one of those face that is so versatile. He can pretty much do anything, just change a hair style and he can look so different.He can still totally do high school student again. Thanks for your comment.

hahaha no no no.. although I'm so (much much much) HAPPY hearing Toma as a candidate of super important role from this mega famous anime, but I can't imagine him as Eren XD
I think he is more suited to be Jean? hahaa..
whatever it is I would feel very HAPPY if he chosen as one of the cast :DDD (but please don't a character who dies in the beginning huhu T^T)

I didn't like Jean character but he was interesting enough. I like Eren the best so I like Toma to take that role and also the main role too. Eren has big beautiful eyes (Toma has beautiful eyes) , determination (most role Toma got was like this) and have the love of beautiful Mikasa (Toma is popular with the girls haha). Conclusion, Toma is perfect Eren. Oh I realllllly hope he will be in this movie because this movie gonna be big and he maybe become famous around the world.
