I thought about Yano's selfishness too. I mean if Toma could pull it off (that I get to hate him sometime). haha

yeah, i think toma can do it. xD even though i've never really hated his character before, but i guess it's cuz he's always been a good guy. except for HYD2, but even then i still liked him. haha. especially at the end, i felt sorry for him and he just looked sooooo gorgeous n cool. lol.

this is how i feel too about toma as junpei.. even with all the bad things he did, i couldn't bring myself to hate him :D

But, i did hate him in ningen shikkaku.. not him, his character.. the way he portrayed it was so good that it made me so frustrated that somebody could ruin their life like that!

but even in ningen, i still felt sorry for his character. lol. if he was more like in the book, then i would really hate/be creeped out by him, but he wasn't. xD

i'm not sure if i'll hate him in genji...i mean, i hate genji in the novel, but i'm sure they'll change certain things 2 make him more likable in this movie.

u have read the books? i don't have the strength to read about the depressing life of a person i guess :D i wouldn't read ningen shikkaku even if toma gave me the book himself :D
yeah i think the movie genji would be a lot different than novel genji..

oh nooooo. xD i didn't read the book, but i looked for info and reviews about the book and the anime/manga. and from what i found out, he's a really creepy, sad, weird guy. o_o

aah sou.. i read about genji's story on wikipedia too and i was wondering why toma chose to act such a character.. :-s maybe that's why i'm more interested in BGI than genji.. :D

yep, i guess most people are more excited about BGI. but i'm more interested in the genji movie cuz it's toma's 1st big budget movie and playing such a famous/infamous role!! xD

Though BGI seemed something to look forward to, I too am more interested of Genji since not only is it a big budget movie but it's an adaptation (even if they'd have another way of executing it) of one of Japan's great masterpieces. I don't think anything could be more interesting than that which has history in it (though Hikaru Genji's a fictional character).

Even though I'm not fully aware of the whole thing, I'm sure I heard it being mentioned in class by different teachers and professors several times. I didn't hear BGI at all. Though I got nothing against BGI since I like it. Just the thought of which brought out more interest for me lies there.

oh, that's right! another reason i'm interested in how it turns out. though i think there's a lot of hype and exagerration about how great this novel is. at least from the reviews and info i looked up on the novel...it seems more like a soap opera focusing on their love lives. but since most people think highly of the novel, it's definitely a lot of pressure for toma and everyone involved.

oh, i know what u mean!! O_O genji in the novel is such a horrible and pervy guy. i reallyyyyyy had a hard time thinking of toma playing that role at first, but then i guess like in ningen, they will tone things down and change the story so that he's more likable, right?

yep, i knew they would! just that in ningen they toned it down a little too much, i guess, so it got a little boring. hopefully for genji, they did it right.

I actually liked Junpei Oribe in HYD2. I never hated the character. Just that maybe Yano has got more displeasing character. haha.

And if I do get to hate Toma in Bokura ga Ita, that only means he's an effective actor since I kind of dislike Yano at some point. haha
